ZERO CONCEPT!!

Science and Spirituality have never been in good terms with each other. Science has been progressing tremendously and throughout its growth it has always tried to disprove to existence of god. Science tries hard to explain every phenomena happening in this world and claims that people just use god to fill up the gaps which they cannot understand. Science still has not been able to unravel the mystery of the origin of this universe . The concept of everything Out of nothing .

If you empty a vessel it can be filled up to the brim. Hence Zero has the capacity of fullness. Sometimes in our meditation or even in our sleep we come to a stage where there is no thought. In that state time passes without our realising it. In this way, a mind without thoughts is when we are in a state of zero, and we enter into timelessness, or in other words Infinity.

We normally think of zero as a number without any value. That what man does not understand he quickly dismisses as zero! Ordinary man who experiences silence may simply feel that his head has become empty and the cessation of useless thoughts. Technically Silence is an emptiness parallel to the concept of zero. But highest spirituality conceives that the zero is an incalculable infinite. The true fact is that Silence is superior to thinking and that it is out of silence that thoughts arise. So it is not empty at all.

The mathematic revelation of zero can also be explained. Researchers of Maths say that it was Aryabhata who gave a name and number upon a gap, the profound Shunya, Zero. He has created the symbol of a circle with a dot within, perhaps to show the immense space captured within a mere circle. He is the first person to reveal the potential of Zero. Brahmagupta (3000 B.C) narrated the rules of operation of Zero in his work Brahmasphutasiddantha, in which he treats Zero as just another number. According to him the division of any quantity by zero is an infinity, or immutable Divine, a Divine who remains unchanged even when worlds are created or destroyed. Only the tangible changes; zero the intangible, immutable. Zero is deeply embedded in Indian spirituality. According to Indian Spiritual teachings, through meditation one enters into the "Sunya" (Nothingness). The sleeping posture of Lord Vishnu is termed as Anantha Sayanam – Anantham means whole, complete, purnam – Anantha Sayana – one who is sleeping on infinity.

There is a phenomenon in life where a man loses every valuable thing he has and becomes socially a zero. Such zeros amazingly experience a dramatic turn-around and experience a reversal of fortunes whereby all that deserted them comes back to them in a great measure.
